Yet here we are.  No I didn&#8217;t draw the short straw nor did I do this on a dare.  I volunteered because of the prospect of the sort of topics a blog such as this could broach.</p>
<p>So it is with a mixed sense of trepidation and excitement that I embark on what I hope to be a journey of discovery.  I must admit I love innovations, so hopefully this blog will not nearly be as soul destroying as first envisaged.  I know there are others that share my passion for the novel and interesting so before too long I hope to enlist other contributors to this blog. Game on&#8230; </p>
